Selling your home in winter

Category News

Little things you can do to assist with the sale of your property in winter:

If you have an indoor fireplace, light it up. It adds immediate warmth and ambience.

Soft lighting and heavy rugs can also contribute to making a home appear more comfortable and inviting.

Open all curtains and blinds to allow all available sun into the property.

Speak to your agent regarding the best time of day to show your home.

Even though gardens aren't in peak condition during the winter months, ensure that the garden is free from excessive leaves and that it is tidy.

Buyers buy with their eyes and hearts, but don't we all? Our buying process is very emotive and the sight of unkept elements to a home evokes uncertainty and discomfort on the buyer's behalf.

This is not as daunting a task as you may think, however, if you need some support our real estate agents are well equipped to provide you with guidance.
