For a minute let's not talk about the Coronavirus! With so much information, varying reports and fake news out there, all I will ask is that you look after yourself and stay healthy. South Africans have a reputation for being jovial even in challenging times and for simply continuing through whichever disaster they are faced with. For now - it seems this is exactly what we are doing again!
 
2020 has been off to a good start property wise, with increased sales and much better market conditions following the high immigration and subsequent flooded market we faced end 2019. House prices have started climbing again, albeit slowly, and the rental market is recovering as both these sectors are enjoying an increase in demand.
The banks have shown a greater willingness to assist our buyers with their bond applications and the adjusted transfer duties post budget speech have offered respite in the lower entry level and investment price ranges.
